Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Sort your priorities

Was let go 4/3/2020 along with 25 more of co-workers across the country. I cringe when I see on linkedin how amazing michael dell is giving millions to help COVID. How about not firing employees during a worldwide pandemic and keeping our health insurance for 6 months? I love the company, not so much on management layers.

Couldn't agree with you more, @nvre+1475XBBQ.

I was also let go in April and I agree the package s—ed. If I were to keep Cobra after the two months it would be around 2500 a month. Sad and I live in one of the worst hit states with the Covid-19 and now trying to find a job is crazy. I did enjoy working for the company but upper management after certain managers are in it for themselves and don't care about anyone else.

Lay-offs have happened, more are being discussed and others will happen in FY21 (CY20). Packages are weak. COO sent email about no raises etc but nothing about exec pay being reduced ... Michael Dell quote ‘we share a vision of a future better than today’ my question is who’s future ?
