From the March 4th layoffs - I filed for unemployment the same day. Still haven't gotten one cent from New Mexico Workforce Solutions. It says I am both eligible and approved, however, there is still one pending issue stated as "remuneration". I signed the severance packet same day as layoff. Can't get an answer out of the unemployment office as to why or what it means. They say my case has to be assigned to a Specialist for review. Do you think it's because we got severance pay? Does anyone know if we need an attorney for this? I emailed payroll@cpwm.com (the only access info they would give out) who replied that they have responded to all inquiries from all the unemployment offices.

It should be pretty cut and dry. I'm sorry your going thru all this. Keep on top of it even if it means calling unemployment daily. You will eventually get it!. Best of luck!
