What’s the point of putting us on contract when there is going to be no work.

They have to have a few warm bodies on staff in order to even pretend that they can bid on work. This way they don't have to give any benefits.
What a waste of time wft turned out to be. Wasted years. Stock collapsed
So they can avoid paying severance and unemployment.
