Now that Kmart is moving in Minneapolis where do you think they'll locate the new store? What an opportunity to get $9 million dollars and begin from scratch with a modern, clean, efficient, Kmart. Exciting times for people who love Kmart!

I dont know
Not sure why @1per got thumbs-down because he is accurate. 2002 was the last new Kmart location
@1jzr Yep, lots of them. However I don't think there have been any new Kmart stores since 2002 when bankruptcy was filed the first time.
Has KMart even opened a new store since the 70s?
There is no announcement about another store
Eddie is going to take the money and run
To my knowledge, Kmart has not replaced any of the stores they have closed over the past few years. I don't know why Minneapolis would be an exception.
@inf+14w5SrMV I hope you're just trolling or something, but in case you're not, there's no damn new store, LMAO! They are just slowly closing liquidating their remaining stores, and this location was just part of that process. There will never be another Kmart in MN. And good for that! I'm glad they are finally opening that intersection. They might even put a trolly line through there. Will be pretty!
I just assumed that if they are trying to be a retailer that they'd take the $9 million dollars and invest it in a brand new store.

We need those 9 million dollars to incentive the office of the CEO.
Where did you read that they are moving to another location?
I could never tell if "The Transformation" was sarcasm either.
I can't tell if this is sarcasm or not.
There won't be a new store. The $9 million buyout will disappear into some offshore bank account, never to be seen again by anyone at KMart or Sears.
What new store? What are you even talking about?
