Thread regarding Altice USA (Cablevision) layoffs

The sad irony of the layoffs

While AUSA employees are being axed the company is enjoying unprecedented surges in new connects/revenue. It’s one of the biggest lies to say these layoffs are due to the COVID situation. Service levels and consistency continue to drop and the brass simply do not care. Pathetic to lay these folks off under a false pretense.

Don't know how they can have surges in new customers when they don't know how to run a cable company their service s—s and forget any customer service if they have any you can't get thru.
It is so sad so many have given so much and yet treated like c-ap from this company. What goes around comes around. Hope Altice gets what they deserve

Your post hits the nail on the button. It’s really sad when you get laid off through a phone call. All the years you put in and hard work and nothing. There is very little empathy for its employees. Other companies are promising no layoffs while they could not

Very sad seeing coworkers fired that been with Suddenlink since 1992 . Altice USA repeatedly stated that no one will lose there job from the Covid disaster , even if you get sick . They gave hazard pay to all retail , and service techs . Then the following week they fired everyone that they just gave a raise to. Was shocking that Altice USA would do that to there employees. They were dishonest, lied and have no morals . It’s a disgrace how Altice management has treated its dedicated employees.

It’s sad that people who have dedicated over 30 * years are permanently laid off . No warning, laid off by a phone call. I’m a wife of a AUSA tech that luckily kept his job. But his friends that he worked with for over 30 years is devastating to us !! Most of the employees that have stayed through all the sells, changes and management changes are loyal and actually care about the system. But in a blink of a eye AUSA has changed their life’s forever. I hope and pray they are brought back to work. It started as Harmon Cable and then Charter, Suddenlink Altice AlticeUSA
