Thoughts on timing of layoffs...? I’ve heard April, we’re half way in.. also heard July...

I heard Broadcom is considering a plan to move all ESTG roles to India. The a la carte model it’s not very profitable keeping large scrum teams to add small point features. These features only benefit a handful of core customers. Field that didn’t move to HCL might be moved to HCL. I know this because my manager called a quick meeting to discuss. One person on call said, “ok let me summarize. We are either fed or really fed. “ manager said, “Yea ok I see where you are coming from”. It’s been a good ride everyone. CA wasn’t exactly doing the latest and greatest, we let ourselves get here. This is business , can’t expect the economy to buy old products. Good luck
From what I’ve heard the list of names are already done. if/when they pull the trigger...based upon related work done late March, early April... glad I left when I did...
