Thread regarding Halliburton Co. layoffs

Are they offering a severance package

I hope they still are giving a severance package to those laid off. We heard Halliburton was considering no paying for anything other than a week plus vacation time due. Remember they changed vacation due in January to days earned instead of a years vacation

I got laid off last Tuesday. 1 week for every year of service, any left over accrued vacation and insurance active until the end of the month, no additional time. They offer cobra if you are interested.

I’m hearing, 1 week for each year of service, with a cap at 16 weeks. Whatever time accrued when it comes to vacation , insurance and benefits , 3 months.
