I’ve been reading about layoffs, but I see some are saying the Furlough are over. I thought NB was on 60 day Furlough.

Useless Hall HR. Should seen the difference between Baker and Hall HR. Huge difference, cannot even compare.
It's also pretty awkward trying to to ship products and get revenue with the furlough too. HR doesn't do a whole lot of that.
you'd rather be laid off than furloughed? You prefer no money to 1/2 pay plus insurance? I've been laid off before, please Big Red, keep the furlough going as long as you can.

The only people that were taken off from furlough were HR people because they are needed to handle the volume of people being released at NB. The only reason the furlough would end early would be to make it easier to release people. My guess is it is probably pretty awkward trying to do that with everyone on furlough.
If you don't like the furlough then please just quit. Maybe go work for Amazon. There are many more of us who are willing to make the best of it and who appreciate still having a job with $20 oil. No anger, only camaraderie.
I'm feeling this furlough in the worst way, I'd prefer to just be laid off.
Ignorance and anger are sprinkled in almost every email. People don't care about about each other, and the Big Red family is dead. The X and Y shift seem pitted against each other and are using each other as scape goats for short comings.
I guess you could say this social experiment would yield similar results elsewhere. But this is disturbing, demoralizing, and embarrassing.
