Thread regarding DCP Midstream Partners L.P. layoffs

Years and experience mean nothing here

Been with DCP for over 12 years until yesterday. I am gone and some new hires who have been on the job for less than a year are still employed! How is that right? Loyalty obviously means nothing to DCP leadership, we are all just a number to all of them. All of them should be ashamed.

Dcp will be around because they are heartless!!! Lay off 300 + people save 40 million or cut dividends like all the other oil and gas companies are doing and save another 325 million!!!

DCP was a terrible company to work for; deep down you know this to be true. The only reason why you and I stuck around for as long as we did was because it would take effort in finding those greener pastures. The fact that DCP keeps laying off people in order to remain afloat is key to deeper issues regarding financing and books balancing. Whether they go belly up or get bought for pennies on the dollar by some larger midstream company, DCP Midstream will not be around for long.
