Baker has pulled out of full service a year ago and only had the northeast region that was profitable(I don’t see how) they are wholesale and channel partners now. You can’t service people if you don’t have inventory or warehousing. As long as the Supply Chain managers are still in place and don’t push back on there wonderful accounting process then they will never be profitable and I don’t care how many reports you run nothing will change.
Blacksburg got hit today as well.
So is Baker getting out of the mud business altogether? Sounds like it if they're thinking of closing Corpus, Battle Mtn and Morgan City...They'll never make a decent profit in the future if they don't own their own mud.
NAO Pressure pumping group hit really hard!
DCF and manufacturing last week and this week. Discussions of closing Corpus, Battle Mt. and Morgan City. Sheldon Rd has only 3-4 employees left.
