So hard to deal with the anxiety and unknowns. I would almost welcome being laid off—at least I would know and be done worrying!

@updatethatresume are these supposed layoffs supposed to happen soon? If you were privy to seeing ppt slide shows with altered org charts, when are these changes slated for? Instead of fear mongering are you able to offer actual facts and dates?

They are planned. They wanted to try and hold off but we are doing so bad and we don’t know how long the wfh will be the plan is to start calling people at home within the next two to three weeks. They wanted to cut in other areas but there’s just nothing left.
On another related note. Looks like the “leadership” will soon be executing the plan they did at another company that rhymes with naiche pee. What was done with the salary and furlough cuts is step one. Layoffs and no back fills is next. I saw a preso that showed parts of company being sold off while others will be shut down. Meetings being held now with potential purchasers. This is all I am going to say. Good luck all.
