If you don't believe me, go google Allscripts jobs and limit it to the last 7 days. There are plenty of jobs that were posted in that period. Which makes me see red. Was there no way to offer those jobs to people who were cut during that time? And if we have money to hire people, shouldn't that mean that we have money to keep people employed?

I hope anyone that gets a job offer at Allscripts reads this board first. If you have other options take those first. If you desperately need a job and have no other options then proceed and just know usually if there is a problem its not you!
I was laid off and interviewed for and internal position only to be told later that they aren't able to fill the position. It is probably for the best.
Big Pharma does the same thing. Layoff a ton of people and at the same time post job openings for less pay.
They're not hiring. HR just hasn't gotten the memo yet. Companies like collecting resumes so that they can reject them due to "insufficient qualifications". They can then turn to an offshoring company and hire cheaper labor. No need to pay severance when the stock cr @ ps out, just terminate the contract.
@wjq+14peoG3T. Epic has no interest in owning Allscripts. Epic has never acquired any other company. I don't think they would take Allscripts if it was gifted.
Check out the Health IT Family Tree. Epic is the top line.

They’re not doing it to hiring fresh out of college people. I’m fresh out of college and have been laid off twice by this company. It’s a joke, they are scrambling to hold on to what clients they have left. Epic will own them soon.
Seems like I chose a fantastic quarter to be joining the company as a US citizen... Not.
Just posting positions do they can hire inexperienced employees from India. This way they lower the salary expense. On of Black’s famous tricks to try and show good numbers. Unfortunately clients and investors know what is happening which is why the stick was dropping to 52 week lows.
Because they are cutting their experienced people to hire fresh out of college.
Most likely job post for Indian H1B workers. In order to apply green card for them, you need post the position and receive resumes. The company need to prove no US workers qualified for the position.
Likely just posting non existent positions. The same jobs are posted over and over
