Do we have any idea how many were notified so far across the entire company? And how many more can we expect in the following weeks? I'm hoping they don't drag this out for too long...

I have worked for 4 different companies, and Hal’s HR was the most terrible one. I do realize that HR always protects the company, but it’s the most inconsiderate, aggressive and clueless. If they witness the manager accusing the employee with their eyes they will still crash you. A bunch of useless puppets!
How is baroid doing? Anyone laid off?
When managers or higher up personnel are laid off or fired the company doesn’t openly call it that. Instead the person is announced as unexpectedly retiring, or leaving the company to pursue other opportunities, or is moving into an individual contributor role. Think of those psl-wide or company-wide emails that are periodically sent out to everyone announcing that manager A is being replaced by manager B. If the message doesn’t include info on manager A moving up to a higher role then more than likely manager A is being forced out of their previous role by the company. The company just isn’t being obvious about it.
They will layoff HR after they are done with the paperwork to lay all of us off.
- .. Sperry director and many senior managers laid off
When is the last time anyone has seen someone in management get laid off???
Do you really need HR? Seems like there are too many of them. Why all the Executives? Do they really move the needle?
I'm thinking they are letting security go...
Where is this at
But there are no employees there
Security lined up near HR @NB Mfg. Hell of a way to start a Friday
This could be the day. Lots of security in suits outside as of 730 this morning.
The lights are on in HR....they usually aren’t.
Also, will there be more layoffs today? Friday usually isn't a layoffs day, but these days you never know.
