We are in the dark. Lack of info. from Boeing and union.

We have to get our info. from here or the news. WTH!
We need more direct communication from “leadership”!
The union will not wave union fees?
We need to be able to tap into our VIP/401k without tax penalties.
The problem is not going to fix itself. They are not going to put themselves out of work.
Thanks for your posts on here, we are many and we need to help each other.

I so sorry for people who bought a 500,000 plus house + Lexus + Boat + gamble your 401K. maybe now it's time to change your DIAPER, after this you will need to learn to save your money QUIT trying to live past your means.

@qyl They are not going to come out to your house to pick up badges and equipment. Do you know how many house trips that would be? Everyone is going to go back to work once this is over and that’s when they will receive their WARN notices. I believe it’s required to give 60 days notice. So everyone getting laid off will have 2 months of pay.

@qyl+14o7RneB they want your personal contact info not to give you updates, they need to find you to lay you off.

Since you are not in the factory, they can't just come out and hand you your walking papers. So, they need an alternative method.

Seriously, how did that get past you sharp union folks. That's how Hobby Lobby did it, sent mail to the individual and came to pick up their badge and equipment from their house.

What emails I have received, have been from the union which haven't helped at all.

@qy1 The reason for giving out contact info was so they could call people back deemed “essential”. I have been getting emails to my personal email through the union.

Most Boeing employees don't have access to internal email while at home, not everyone has a Boeing issued laptop or cellphone. What was the reason for giving one's name, cellphone number and personal email address if they're not passing any information on?

Its funny, because you guys only down voted the single post on there that makes sense. You are welcome to go get a different job, rather than feel entitled to the one that you have at Boeing... Stop with the crying. All the information that can be shared is shared. Its set out by the media to prevent Employees from insider trading violations. VLO your way out if you can't grow up and be a productive employee.

Boeing isn't telling it's employees any news thru internal email either, only press releases they've already given to the media. Keeping your own employee workforce in the dark, is piss poor leadership.
They deserve everything bad that happens to them.
