You clearly don’t know much. The labor rates in Singapore aren’t much different that the US. The only reason it’s cheaper to build there is because the Singaporean government subsidizes the plant. They could easily close it down and negotiate something similar to keep it in the US

Why would corporate do that? Keep the cheap labor layoff the expensive labor and save on taxes since out of country.
