Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

Management should be taking temperatures of associates not hourly!

We have to start getting our temps taken tomorrow and it's being done by the claims associates. Why are hourly associates being made to do that? We are already putting ourselves at risk just coming to work now I have to take associates temps too! This should be done by Management not hourly associates!

Totally agree should be management or team leads! We as hourly associates don’t get compensated for doing it!!! They would rather sit and do nothing or watch the hourly associates do it!!!

At our store, it's an ASM or the PL. During the time while they're away, another ASM or Support answers calls and runs the store.

Vision center associates should do it. They sit around all the time anyway. You report to vision center before going to your work station. The vision center is at the front of store, best place to check.

They asked my claims associates to do it and they declined saying they were not comfortable in doing it. Our vision DM volunteered to do it. I think they should have a qualified medical person doing it. I am glad that they are monitoring the associates though. Wish they would do it with customers as well.
