Is SS&C working with staff and employees during this hard time or being the normal non caring business machine ?

The Senior Management people are snakes. Try and get away from them if you can. Do not believe anything they say.
My advice as well is to get out if you can. Leave the under handed “old timers” with their 40 year old technology that no one wants. If CMS (Medicare) would enforce their mandates they would be shut down anyway.
Yes, the Sr. Director buddy network is infectious at this company. These people are what holds this company on to their old useless technology. If anyone with modern knowledge does get onboard with the company the Sr. Director old timers do all they can to get them out.
They did NOT spend a c-apload of money to have people work from home. BS
SS&C spent a c-apload of money to have almost all of us work from home. What are you people talking about?

The firm I work for spent between 300,000 and 400,000 equipping our service staff with devices so we could work from home safely AND we're getting fully pay and benefits throughout.
The utter sh–tiness of DST is made even more apparent when I consider how well my current employer treats me.
They don’t care about the employees at all. When they lay people off they just try and load more work onto the people remaining. They never seem to realize the technology industry is a knowledge based industry. They expect phone support people to take on information technology jobs and tasks. SS&C either has a high degree of not caring about employees or clients.
They SAY they care....but no. They don't. They care about the revenue, they care about the expense, they care about their image...but they don't care one tiny bit about the staff. Not. One. Bit.
