Rumor mill is that layoffs are coming to protect the numbers as much as possible because of Covid-19. Sounds like a great excuse to reduce headcount even further.

6 day ahead warning!!! You were absolutely correct. To those who didn’t believe the original post. Its true.
Yes, it’s true within the Suddenlink systems. Not sure about techs but some management will be gone & unsure if they are coming back. DSR’s that have been working from home & not producing will be laid off from what I heard. If they are keeping the DSR’s that are productive, they obviously will still need techs. That’s all I know so far if I hear anything new I will keep ya posted. At least unemployment is paying $900 a week. That will help for a while. This is a rough time for everyone. Hopefully things will go back to “normal” soon.
good luck with that! can't layoff anyone in my depot unless they get rid of contractors first :)
They’re coming soon. They’re using the reduction of work in “hot zones” to justify. It will probably hit VDO first then other field ops groups, mostly suddenlink side for now. Layoffs already happened at the beginning of March but got delayed by the plague. And if course everything is a rumor until it happens but we’ve seen it before with AUSA.
At least he said "rumor mill"
We all know how accurate that is. I'm still waiting on the 4 weeks per year rumor
