Thread regarding TechnipFMC plc layoffs

CEO keeps multimillion dollar salary during layoffs

I understand the need for layoffs in the oil and gas industry, but if the CEO took even a tiny pay cut, it would save jobs. He talks about morality and ethics while not caring or knowing a damn thing about who works for him.

CEO and CFO still make in a week what the average employee makes in a year.

Company code of Ethics,” tone from the top”

I would take no pay during the fiscal year until recovery.

Additionally, we have announced revisions to compensation through the end of the year which include a 30 percent reduction to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer’s salary; a 30 percent reduction in the Board of Directors’ retainer; and a 20 percent reduction to the Executive Leadership team’s salaries

Awfully nice of the executive team and board to reduce their salaries by just enough to directly save their children and other family members’ unnecessary roles in the company.
