IAM751 said they were trying to streamline
Applying for unemployment. Still haven’t seen anything seen anything but the Q/A email.
Uh that didn’t tell me anything new or make it easier to apply.

No I don't need to see someone else's post.Some of us haven't collected unemployment in over 20 yrs, things have changed.I followed all instructions to a T & it was indeed fairly simple.However, some others didn't, & as a result they're getting denial letters, or haven't received their UI checks yet, etc. I was just trying to point out that the system IS working, and to let others know it'll probably be ok.Some people are stressing this, they need the $$. So I'll leave you all to your miserable lives, go on & TROLL away.

Whatever dipshit. Just trying to let people here know that the system is working, for those that did it correctly.Yes, there was a lot of confusion regarding initial filing, one day the union says do this, the next day they say no, do this instead etc. but after all the BS it works after all. If you don't work there go away.
Geez. Downvoted because I stated a fact about I received my UI check. Ooohhh I’m bad. I didn’t ask for this to happen, so I’m happy to be getting some sort of income. Yes, I have saved for a rainy day, I’ll be fine regardless. I’m not lazy or entitled, I’ve worked there 20 yrs nonstop. If everyone is eligible for an additional $600, why aren’t we getting it? Perhaps it’ll start next week. Every single person that’s on standby can use that $$, so why act like it’s a bad thing?
I just received my 1st UI check, but no extra $600......I thought we were supposed to get it bundled with our regular check, no delays. WtF

I went ahead and applied. It was easy.
Don't wait on that useless union to spoon feed you information. Go to Washington state website for unemployment, apply on the website, it's very easy to navigate through.
Don't wait for the non-committal dipsh1ts at IAM751, they're too busy counting the $2,500,000.00 they're making off the 30,000 union members in Puget Sound.
Take control of your own lives.
You will need to wait a while, the government is out of ink and paper to print the money and the workers that make that stuff are sick with the virus.
So this topic was asking for a guide to apply for unemployment? And union supposed to walk everyone one through, or have to make it easier to apply? Lol, u guys should keep it under table guys, dont let the world know that we’re building airplane and dont even know how to apply for unemployment.

They are working on it, details by friday
They are going to coordinate with the unemployment office to make a streamlined application process specifically for us at Boeing I don’t believe they heard anything today that’s why we didn’t get an update but I’m sure they’re still working on it
