Thread regarding Halliburton Co. layoffs

Duncan

I have seen where DFC will be heavily impacted but has anyone heard anything about DMC or DTC? I can’t believe the field camp would be the only location In Duncan experiencing a lay-off of this size.

Had a meeting today for them to let us know there WILL be a layoff at DMC. No other info at this time.

Appears Jeff is taking care of Houston North Belt employee’s. They get furloughed and still have a job. Oklahoma where Halliburton started is getting the ax. But everything is fair in Account’s world.

To Dude, there is no office in Duncan anymore. Just FYI.
You have to find a good computer with internet.
Just FYI...

They have to consider the unemployment office in town. They space it out for that reason.

Trust me when I say they can get everything done as fast as Carol's husband got are. Dont let them lie to you, if they wanted to have one done, they can get everything done in 24 hours.

It takes time. There's paperwork involved and administrative duties. It's not like they can just push a button.

Just wish they would do it already. What benefit do they get by waiting? Do they get off on watching everyone panic and worry from day to day not knowing if they will have a job.

With 350 people gone I’d imagine that’s not just the field camp.

I dont see how it would be possible for DMC to NOT lose anyone through this mess .. being an "essential " employee doesn't feel very essential right now.
