Maybe that was the idea behind the split shift furlough, makes it easier to eliminate all of second shift and that’s half the shop floor right there.

Truth of it is a substantial Sperry reduction. Worst case is 50% across the board. All departments in Sperry. If you want to rationalize it, management further up the chain than your BUMs like paying for half of a NB workforce. Now it could be a reality.
Technicians, support, management all getting cut to meet the new status quo of operational delivery.
Kiss your planners, PGLs, WCLs, and friends goodbye now, it's all a coin toss's odds at this point.
