Where is the bonus for salaried workers??? We are on the front lines everyday and have not received squat. The hourly associates get the 2 bucks an hour raise and a bonus. Store management, Clicklist supervisors, beverage stewards get nothing?? This is not right.

Wait a minute, the bonus we just got (salaried managers) is part of next years bonus? That just gave it to us early? What the f*%#
We were probably going to get a good bonus anyway, with sales and EBITDA LOOKING GOOD FOR 2020. If I’m going to have to wear a mask and take people temperature, I should be getting some other hazard pay. They need to extend hero pay and give management something else like stocks or more pay.
I left the company now more than a year ago, and saw this decline from yards away. When they restructured their salaried mgr's bonus to be largely proportioned to total company performance and not the store's performance was a huge sign. Not sure if they kept it that way, but I imagine they did or made it worse.
By the way. Remember the hourly bonuses was because they didn't want to pay $2 an hour like the rest of the competition.
It is ok. G.O. will get their record stock and bonuses this year.
Just do the math. Getting a 1/4 of next years bonus. Affects your tax rate this year. The guarantee ends up being 130% for the year. Stores are trending 150 to 200% now. So... did you get a hero bonus?

Also, remember they were supposed to get rid of more managers but the virus kind of got in the way. They are now looking to get "back to normal" with standards, walks, etc. because obviously everyone knows things are back to normal. Look for managers to start getting put on performance plans to lead to their firings.
I mean it makes total sense to fire people in the middle of a pandemic and make stores run with fewer managers because they have no "extra" bodies. So, all your really guaranteed at this point is getting your 1st quarter part early. Kroger corporate would never take a pay reduction. They have to pay for that extra couple bucks and "hero" bonus they gave employees somehow.
The “bonus” is a joke we have been “given” something that is already earned. A true bonus is something that is above and beyond our base pay. We have put our lives and our families lives at risk now daily. This is an insult to all of us on the frontlines.
Not for sure if it's the same in all divisions, but in ours all their doing is giving us 1/4 of our yearly bonus early. Rest of 2020 year bonus given out next year will be minus that 1/4 and minus the months of record breaking sales we are getting early bonus for. Plus, they are suddenly "taking a look" at last year store performance and retroactively reducing amount of bonus store directors qualify for.

Stock Options can be wiped away in 1yr. Restricted Stock can be taken away immediately. If you don't understand, just ask someone who lost their job last October. They were awarded restricted stock in July only to be terminated and it taken away in October. If not for the current pandemic situation, this would have already have repeated itself for hundreds in not thousands more. But right now, they need bodies.

I didn’t even get the full bonus this year. I will be interested to see what they give us this week.
Plus, your standard bonuses will be much higher this year due to the greatly increased sales. So, you'll definitely get yours too!
