What this virus has taught us is that the workers in the store are essential, not the corporate slugs that have forgotten we existed for years. Instead of investing in all these new buildings and remodels they should have invested in training and payroll.

But the retailers won't. This has just convinced them to close more stores, move more online, and automat all retail workers ASAP. They will do what all big business does, let the government figure out what to do with all the little people...meanwhile, they pay little to know taxes, because doncha know...they are the job creators...
