Using "hazard pay" loosely for simplicity.
Are corporations deemed “essential" being given subsidies to help with the increased pay for hazardous working conditions during COVID-19? (cause I am pretty sure that is what some cheap companies were waiting before they raised pay.)
Are they applying for these subsidies using the full number of eligible employees? For Example: company applies using the eligible number, 5,000 essential employees, but only pays 3,000 of those employees.
Are these companies allowed to be selective in who they pay "hazard pay” to?
shouldn't the number of employees used to apply for the subsidies be the same amount of employees being paid "hazard pay"
shouldn't an "essential employee" be an "essential employee?"
Shouldn't it be paid to anyone that has to work outside of their home?
just a few questions i have been pondering.....
