1luc+14ijJJLV: Oh managers are likely exempt as stores are remaining open to fulfill orders. Someone has to manage those huge orders.
Are Store Managers also getting furlough? Mine is saying she's working from home with reduce pay.
Since Kmart is staying open my guess is certain locales are not happy with them being open, especially since only like 1/4 of the store or less qualifies as essential. They just don't want to look like the bad guy. No more no less. PR fluff. If they really cared they'd shut Kmart and home services. I firmly doubt Kmart has much in the essentials by now. They didn't when they were putting up the social distancing tape and that was like a week ago.

What about the stores that are in liquidation that close for good on April 11th? Wouldn't they stay open for the final week?
I will make more on unemployment than working for Sears. Consultative sales.
Like they had a lot of customers coming in the first place...
