Schneider Electric announced a “non” mandatory self imposed reduction in work schedule for all salary employees in the United States.
Employees can choose 32, 24, or 20 hour reduced work weeks with corresponding pay decreases.
This is a better alternative than mandatory layoffs. It allows employees the option to help and be prepared and ready when we pull out of this.
Other companies in the industry are taking much more drastic steps in payroll reduction.

Employees reduce their hours resulting in giving much more the Executives. If an employees for goes overtime hours and cuts a 40 hour base to 32 hours that a minimum of 20% pay cut. Yet Executives only cut their pay by 10%! What wrong with this picture??
