I understand the FS techs deserve the pay increase for dealing with customers. But any employee who is asked to leave there homes during this pandemic is putting themselves and their families at risk. Between having to get gas or having to use a restroom we all come in contact with people through out the day. The meer fact that supervisors who can work from home are getting the extra money just proves they are picking and choosing who they want to pay. If they truly believe FTTH guys are not at risk then how did people on the project contract it already? I’m just saying this is a time for all of us to come together because we are all being put under extra stress in this current climate

Come back to field service, we can use your
Help FTTH. You’ll be returning soon anyways, so why not get the 20% pay.
Argue all you like,NY State has demanded all non essential workers stay home ( pause). Even though we are an essential business, I bet the state would love to know that a majority of daily work being done is currently Non essential. With that being said most should not even be working,so that puts you/ us at risk, regardless if you are in the face of a customer. We are making money for this company when most other businesses are being forced to close their doors. They don't care about you, your family or the customer. Hope they get caught and get a huge fine. Would of been cheaper if they just gave all employees the 20%
Really ??? You think he contracted it from being on a project. Did you ever think he may have gotten it somewhere else?? We all have jobs right now, a lot of people are unemployed . Even though the job is hazardous , I am still able to provide for my family .
Even if they are not working from they can and if they are in office they are sitting right next to other supervisors who are not getting the %20
