That guy is one of the most corrupt NOV executives. Bragged about going to visit suppliers on their company private jets. He should be in jail or sent back to the garbage country he came from!!
It’s always been like that. Not skill, merit, performance etc. Just walk around Tower and you’ll find plenty of people promoted above where they should be
