“Care” about coronavirus feels fake at Texas facility

I see some people freaking out, others taking necessary precautions, but others just don’t care about the coronavirus. Leadership passes that we are “business as usual”. The site shutdowns are an afterthought, leadership already discussing the plan to get business back to norms when “everything opens back up in a few weeks”.

A team at our facility just delivered a plane and because all bars are closed they decided to “celebrate” in a parking lot.

But we shouldn’t worry because we just got a shipment of 5 gallon bottles of Isopropyl Alcohol for sanitization...

Seriously considering taking a leave of absence just to stay away from the ignorance.

They're in denial. It's all about the profits. A lot of are disappointed in their response to the pandemic and are leaving the company. They can keep daydreaming of the MAX flying by summer. Yeah right.

Do it, they didn't care in the Puget Sound either until a worker died, which was a bad look for them.
