2500 furloughed/laid off whatever you want to call it...GONE!!!! from all departments. 2/3 of company. Hey, ask customers how the service, call backs, credits, incorrect billing, how many calls emails they get from Florida call center. They're dead just forgot to fall over. They dangled coming back early on but that was so sales wouldn't go immediately to secure competitive jobs elsewhere. They never planned on bringing anyone back. They were systematically pillaging Sales livelihoods for the last number of years. How many Class action suits do they have going on? Hmmm let me see...good riddance.

They have changed the Commission system so drastically , that now people who were making big money , are struggling to cover . There is nothing to go back to

WB is still going strong , they buy very little from SP Richards , there have been rumors for the past year about selling , nobody knows for sure , it certainly won’t be a big surprise if they do , maybe it’s time for them to relax a little , they worked hard to bring mason to this level
Seems to be what’s happening. No information coming from corporate or upper management. Also Staples bought essendant and WB is now with SP Richards so that doesn’t make much sense.

so far seems busier at essendant and mason is pretty much only customer
so i dont know what else to tell u. they did freeze our pay so perhaps the slowdown is in
the near future. perhaps leadership is trying to hold out to see what happens for "back to school"
but for now essendant is busy processing mason orders

How can wb be ramping up essendant when they have moved to sp richards.? Wb has been moving away from essendant for a few years now.

essendant volume is 80% mason. cant see them cutting that off. they have no one else to back up the loss $$$
That’s not true. Mason will file bankruptcy next month. They are finished and have been for a while now. Essendent is about to cut them off as a credit risk.
i'm at essendant and we are preparing for a ramping up in volume
from mason.
this hasn't been updated in awhile but it's safe to say that thousands, not hundreds, were laid off. Not sure what's going on behind closed doors as it's almost July and little to no workers have been brought back to work.
Leo has been negotiating either a sale of the company or bankruptcy protection. Should happen in July.
From the knowing the personalities involved.....I am sure it will be death by a thousand knives. Slow and steady decline until one Leo is left in the room. Bring it on!

Most furloughed account managers have lost health care and will probably not be brought back. The end is near.
bankruptcy? really? they have been pounding thr cr*p out of us here at essendant until this virus hit sales. find it hard to believe they wont come back and beat us up some more once virus passes
