Engineer job growth

Definitely not a lay off question (apologies in advance). What are the career growth and salary opportunities for an experienced, early career engineer at P66?

Can't speak to refinery positions specifically, but plenty of growth opportunity in refineries and R&D. There is a bridge between refinery and research positions as well. Some engineers start in the field and transition to R&D with less moving in the opposite direction, but it does happen. Starting engineer salary is ~$110k in R&D currently (PhD required). Not sure what new-hire salary grades are for refineries, but a grad degree isn't required.

As for the other comments, plenty of happy folks at P66. Lots of good, genuine people to work with. Folks with bad attitudes don't do well here, or anywhere, for that matter.

Plenty of other companies to go work for then. There will be a line ready to take your place.
