Deloitte will be announcing a large reduction in staffing in the next two weeks due to the coronavirus. The layoffs will impact all service lines and management levels and will be mainly concentrated on the US Consulting business. The number is still undetermined but it’s expected to 2,500-5,000 employees nationwide.

This didn't happen. This poster isnt credible.
What else can they do? People do not largely undetstand consulting model and join big 5 assuming they can stick entire life there. No, only on top have career longetivity there, rest all come and go like seasonal labor. Sometimes its economy, sometimes poor performance, sometimes technology demands, list has no end to cut the workforce. For Deloitte its their second nature.
Agreed. There will be no layoffs for three months but this summer they will make the cut then
I’m hearing not until June, they will try and keep most on payroll through May. But the rumor is they will cut deep once it begins.
