Think it’s coming soon? With all that’s slowed down?

How bad are Q2 earnings going to look? If layoffs materialize, hopefully the cuts will mostly be supervisors and above. All of the IC fat, and then some, was trimmed back in April.
Yes, confirmed through the grape vine. Similar email to be sent prior to the upcoming earnings call.
Maybe coming soon very soon
Earnings call is coming up soon. Any rumblings on another round of cuts?
Why not offer voluntary severance? Win-win for both ends.
They will be cutting more around next quarter’s earnings. That’s always when it happens. But with the wacko running HR now who knows.
As far as the bloated fat comment...do you see who they let go and who is still here? I’d say we are still very bloated. They trimmed the wrong end of the cow.
As I recall, the 2015 layoffs were March and then October, 2016 was April (minimal) then September (decent). To put some context off when the next round (if it happens) might be. To be fair they have eliminated entire departments during the mid summer months (offshore land comes to mind). Heads up folks. The company isn’t you. Took me walking away from the company to see that but I never worried about it while I was there. Wouldn’t be worth worrying about, because it’s not in my control.
Per lay-off paperwork the dates state that this in “”lay-off commencing from April 20, 2020 through October 2, 2020 “(Reduction Period)”“.
So there will be more to come.
No. Oil price is rapidly rebounding. The first (and only) round was just a necessity in trimming the bloated fat.
