While I agree you can do better than Citrix I wouldn't trust the odds just yet remember. Income is income if one even remotely gets their job back I call it a blessing amidst this rather unfortunate recession we look upon today.
Yes they have rehired several in security space
Life is so much sweeter post Citrix. More WFH, better benefits, and more. You just have to find the right company.
Not hearing those rumors but most companies are glad to rehire you after a lay off if there is a different role you can fill.
You're trying to get back on with a company that didn't care enough about you to keep you and laid you off to begin with? Yes, I don't know anything about you but I'd bet you deserve better. You're likely falling into a state of "Stockholm syndrome" (look it up) that many genuinely fall prey to.
