Airbuses comin' through!
To the hopeful person who thinks US airlines have to buy Boeing per the bailout, here's a clue. Nobody is buying anything right now, and if they're on the hook and have to take delivery, it goes to mothballs in the desert.
So, think about that while you clean the toilets every 10 minutes at Starbucks. Maybe you can build plastic models and sell them on eBay.
Delta's statement indicated they were consolidating their fleet and reducing aircraft types, which means they aren't a likely 777X customer. It's never good when an airline eliminates a Boeing fleet because we're no longer supporting them through Spares etc. It also weakens the freighter market, because these aircraft are prime candidates for cargo conversion.
Haha ....Delta will continue flying its fleet of long-haul, next-generation Airbus XE:AIR+0.51% A350-900s, which burn 21% less fuel per seat than the 777s they will replace, the airline said
Apparently they are buying A350s , so u keep building those antique 777 dinosaurs that no one wants HA HA
@uqv Go home boy Delta took the bailout they have to buy American planes in the future. Guessing they will take 777X when this virus thing is over. Nice try pal. You must have gotten your WARN already.
Haha ! Goodbye to that mo–n BGS operation in Dallas known as Aviall... what a 3 Stooge Operation, stick a fork in them, they are done Ha ha
Nope... they are going with better A350s ... not this union built overpriced uncompetitive junk Ha ha , even Bill Boeing if he were alive today would go with Airbus
Did you just wake up?!
