Yep, they will squeeze the turnip dry. They know people will take it and not revolt. What option do you have, who is going to stand up and say hell no.
Unfortunately jumping is the answer. Shift career. Start actively looking for something else.

Get it right Liferdog, some of us got asked to join Weatherford back in the day when it was a good company to work for, it had ambition and the shop hands had high morale. Then they started buying company after company and stripping off what they didn't want and trying to run the new business with people promoted from within who knew nothing about the new business. That's when Weatherford started to nose dive and upper Management couldn't see through the glossed over monthly reports, the fact that the managers of the different disciplines only gave them the good news. They showed so called Weatherford prime divisions in a good light because that's all they new, and let the new acquisitions bleed dry through ignorance of their operations. Yes men, blowhards, ignorance and narcissism brought Weatherford to where it is today......!!!!
If you are hourly, just call in sick and watch them scramble!
So when managers loose pay, they get to take 3 day weekends, but when we get our wage reduced we still have to work the same hours and on call hours?
No. I know of several managers that are only working Monday through Thursday.
Wow , does this means most managers and sales people need to bump up the hours they work?
Remember people. You asked wft for a job. Wft didnt ask you. If it gets chitty. You asked for it
Is this 32 hour work week in addition to the 20% paycut for the unfortunate poor over worked folks left?
