Do you all think they will tell people next week? Or if they are waiting to tell everyone at once, will that be on May 27? June 11? I can’t take the suspense much longer.

I submitted yesterday, they just told me today that they didnt accept my offer.

All of us know that Oxy doesnt complete due diligence and to assume that you will get a valid response quickly is crazy. It took them at minimum a week to confirm LAPC CoC people... even after they had a process. So I would expect, at earliest, a weekly response grouping.
As with most items the longer it goes on the harder it will be to actually get your larger packages approved. Early bird gets the worm in these situations unless we play the game together and create a minimum together.
\/ I found this highly unlikely but I wish it were true. Don't know if there is any supporting evidence you can provide but I find it unlikely they would accept/reject offers before a vast majority of the company has responded, likely closer to the 26th.
I spoke with HR and got written confirmation that the processing time is 1-2 days after you submit an offer. If it is rejected you can resubmit another offer and continue to do so until 5/26.
Its not a questionnaire AND if your offer is accepted you lose the rights to any kind of claim later. If it turns out there was age or gender discrimination, or any other type of prohibited activity, it appears that you have no rights to pursue a claim. Also it appears there are no unemployment benefits once the offer is accepted because it is not VSP, it is a voluntary resignation even though it has been initiated by Oxy. You would need to check with an employment attorney to be sure, and I am not one. But just wanted to say this is NOT a questionnaire, please be careful.
Are evaluating then individual or are just putting them in buckets... Stupid low..Yes! Stupid high.. No!... Then just sort from the bottom up till they get their numbers.
Yes, it’s a questionnaire. What an id–t.
I don't see an incentive for them to accept offers unless someone puts in a super low offer. They need all the offers so they can sort the list to see who is cheapest to get rid of. I imagine there will still be a factor of past performance and value to the organization (albeit less than prior rounds)–they have no incentive to accept offers from high performers.
@rix+14XSEkJM This is not just a questionnaire. This is an offer from you to the company and it's binding. Either your offer is accepted or it isn't. Some people will get more and some will get less.
I hope that they do it in waves but my gut is telling me that they aren't going to start accepting them until the window is closed. They probably think people will revise their offers lower at the last minute.
Isn’t this first round just a questionnaire to find out what the interest level is? Then the general policy should be drawn up and applied fairly across the organization.
It seems like a panic the way people are describing the process.
