This warn was amended to note total of 450 thru sept. Not 450 that have been hit. Theres more to come.
I agree with last poster I see some don’t that’s fine .. Maybe they know something. I’ve filed WARN notices before for and it is supposed to employees that have been laid off and notified with a sixty day notice. The act reads notice must be given to the employee the union and the state. Exceptions are employees less than six months. The penalty if not followed is 60days severance added to whatver the company policy. Via extended some to September which is in their discretion. That’s the actual separation date. Though Newsom In CA did away with 60 days notice. New layoffs should require a new WARN notice or a new amended one. The layoffs from Cast and Crew or freelancers are not apart of this filing. It’s 450 total non union V/CBS employees since January. Bob Live seemed to confirm this this morning. If others know of new layoffs I hope they keep posting. I do believe there will be more in summer and when return to buildings are being discussed.
The warn 4/29 update definitely extended the date range of future layoffs. But the amount of people laid off so far was also updated. The 450 is the total they have already laid off since January. These are past layoffs. That’s why it was updated on the date of the last layoff. No one really knows how many will be laid off in the future.

The updated notice changed 2 things
The # of staff effected and

They are saying that it will be 450 total until end of september
That means its not over
To find out how many more will be effected you would need to know exactly how many have already been cut of that 450
Do the math
look at the date of the amendment. its the date that the last layoff occurred.
the numbers on the warn notification are the amount that have already been laid off since january.

The 117 from the original Jan and feb. WARN plus the 333 from April 29 posted today is the 450 noted by Deadline. not including any PBE temp or IC Paid by cast and crew. Separations are the sixty day notice to end June. Were the employees told it was their last day that day given an extra sixty day severance per Warn ? I think these are the notified employees from this ammended WARN report. Y and E has said -so they say—it’s over for now.. huge listings from paramount in the CA Warn report.
is this WARN notice a notification of what has already happened? Because it was updated the day the last round of layoffs occurred & deadline said that these layoffs had already occurred.
Report says: This update will impact an additional 333 employees at several ViacomCBS Inc. entity sites in New York City. Employee separations began on April 15, 2020 and has been extended from June 30, 2020 to now will continue until September 30, 2020.
Some Corporate Finance legacy Viacom and CBS folks have already been notified their last day is June 30.
so there's 333 more positions to go?
