Those were off from furloughs found other jobs, or they did not come back.
I worked for Morenci mine only 5 years. I didn't like the job. There were too much drama at that work place. They will exploit you if you are immigrants, or if you don't want to do a stupid thing they ask you to do.
Those areas as truck shop, tire shop, and radio shop are running with people who don't have any brains. They could bring you in an endangerment. Sometimes, I am wondering why they did for a reason.
Yes, I did read other comments. This company has more than 20 thousands employees but for having a union. There was a case an employee he went through steps just for complaining about the safety workplace. His lawyer told him that they wanted to pay him off for dropping off the case.

I am a retired FMI years ago and recently live in Tucson. Employees I've seen have not been back yet. Many told me they already found other job elsewhere. But if you have been under furlough, look for another job as my advice. FMI is under a very big payment it has to pay for. You may see its revenue is so high but for the profit. FMI has not been making much profit but for a very big debt. One morning you wake up and you will hear on the news that the FMI is gone...! You know what I mean.
My best advice is if you are under furlough, you should look for another job and don't rely for FMI to call you back.
Best regard
