Once you are involved in HR, regardless of whether you went there for an issue or it was brought against you, right or wrong, you are red-circled and on "the list". The most corrupt organization in the company.

The thing that makes me laugh about HR departments is their attitude and their view of their own self importance. They are of the belief that if you got rid of everything in the Ford Motor Co. such as engineering, maintenance, production, the related service departments and the only thing left was Human Resources . . . the company would still make money ! I cannot for the life of me imagine how that perception even exists.

Avoid HR at all cost. You have options regarding illegal actions that you witness or are subject to:

  1. Leave and go somewhere else. (Safest option, but file the complaint before you go)
  2. Follow up from 1, get in touch with the local/state authorities. If there is something that bad you want a non associated agency to have record of your complaint. if It ends up in litigation, they could throw you under the bus like those GM ignition switch people.
  3. Lawsuit, but good luck with that. The company has the resources to litigate for a very long time. Look up Robert Kearns (an inventor that Ford screwed over)
  4. If it's bad enough, become a federal whistleblower. What ever settlement the Federal Government gets, you get a percentage of it (like 20%). Rare outcome, but it does happen

cnj+14UfaO9s true. Would also add that the more legitimate the claim, HR will pursue a full out investigation and slander campaign against you. They will contact every person you ever worked for to try to collect any negative comment they can find. They will then meet with you and throw it all in your face on a write up in order to try to paint you as the villain an look to terrify you into silence. That the offender is an angel put here on earth.
This is why there is so much abuse at Ford and why they continually are sued. They protect and hide the most corrupt behavior. The Chief Diversity Officer Lori Costew is the worst. Evil ways to the core and likely how she rose up the ranks. Puts on a show but is really a wolf in sheep's clothing. Just a horrible person at her core.

They are there to protect Ford and will not protect the employees. If you can prove that your manager has done something that could result in legal action they will “investigate” but you’ll still be flagged as trouble.

The only thing that is worst then Ford HR, is Hackett!! The most useless organization to mankind. They are nothing but the cops to protect the company. There is nothing “Human” about it.

Telling lies, covering up lies, bigotry, corruption. Talking about some of the things that go on behind some of Fords production company walls would be a jaw dropping documentary that no person would want to miss. Its past bad and just flat out sad.

They are a disgrace. If you have any kind of issues with management, keep in mind HR is NOT at your side. You became the company's enemy and they act to put you in the corner, whatever it takes, lies included.

Evil people that view and treat employees like enemy number one. Exist solely to protect management in whatever vile activity they want to pursue. No level is too low to stoop and no lie is to small or large. They are not to be trusted. This is the majority opinion. Have never in my 20 yrs met anyone that believes differently.
