Don't think that efficiency is even a part of the process in these reductions. No one is safe. No one!

HCT Intelligent Completions in Spring, TX got hit with layoffs today. We lost about a dozen people that I am aware of between manufacturing, assembly & test shop, and engineering technology. The people let go ran the gamut from shop hands up to managers.
They got some of the wrong ones. Buddy system in Carrollton. It’s not about what you know it’s about who you know and who you’ve walked on egg shells around. They got rid of a lot of experience and long time dedication today.
Cuts have been in mfg/support depts/technology. Most have been technology
Agreed, HCT is very efficient compared to other groups, hence next to zero cuts.....
Now here is a dreamer; —-> 😂>HCT is running at 100% efficiency so we cannot reduce our workforce without affecting our revenue. So there are no cut planned for us
How does one know to ask that HCT got hit today?

It’s never 100% efficiency.. and with wells shutting down —how long you think HCT has until it affects them? Like I said last week in other posts—I give HCT 2-3 months before the bottom falls out
