union can’t prevent layoffs .. only ensure the layoffs are done fair ...
With multiple rounds of layoffs, cut pay, reduced hours, VRP's, voluntary layoffs, and hour manipulation, just to name a few, how much of this are we going to take. Unions are not perfect by far, but they give some legality to us technicians. The company, as a whole, needs to have an option to join the union. Its time to fight back as a collective bargaining unit because the longer we fight with one another, corporate will continue to have the upper hand.
I feel for you guys but unfortunately the time for union should have been when they came up with the stupid idea of moving field staff to ATS . When the showed that video with monopoly ant the other two stooges telling everyone how great it will be that was the time to sign cards. Very sad and disheartening on what you 3 and your partners have done to the companies that you guys bought. You all have broken and shattered them Patrick Drahi, Dexter Gregory Goei, and Hakim Boubazine. You’ve done customers wrong, the ex employees, and the few employees you have left working for you. There should be a law that foreigners should not be able to purchase companies in the United States of America. No good morals out of you guys, just greed.
