More layoffs yesterday within MIS Tech. At least 20 at the AVP, VP, SVP level but some associate positions out as well.
This was last week, what does this week look like? Are we done or will there be more layoffs? To be honest, I'm surprised those levels got hit first and I'm worried about what that might mean for the rest of us.
To my knowledge, all the IT layoffs last week were in the NYC office. This may have something with the increasing presence in Charlotte, despite Sr. leadership's assertions that opening the Charlotte office wouldn't impact NY jobs.
There was some hits in MA a few months back - some in NYC, some in UK. With the RDC acquisition there may be more room to cut unless revenue isn’t impacted with this recession.
MIT will constantly be sliced with the new breed.
