Thread regarding Sears layoffs

A friend in Hoffman said he was called back to work today. So it seems at least some are going back to work.

Hopefully it is a cashier... Because with payroll so low we don't have anyone to ring out customers!! As if the the company didn't want to sell whats left in the stores.. Jesus take the wheel.. It almost feels like Walmart where the associates don't give a f. But it is actually the company that doesn't give an f or it would staff its stores.. Gross

When i was in hoffman i liked the build your own footlong hot dog in the caf. They charged extra for provolone cheese but i hid it under the dog. Hope this did not bring down the company.

Eddie and his hand picked team have a transformational vision for the company. There is a go-forward plan with the pieces betting in place that is readying to transform and ignite Sears back into profitability leveraging the strength and efficiencies of Shop Your Way and the brand power of Craftsman, Kenmore, and A&E, which have stood for quality and service for American families for generations, as well as Kmart which has been a vital part of keeping America going in these trying times. Sears is not living in the past, but taking the next steps towards its wonderful journey. We will get past this crisis. Look forward to it!
