Does anyone know what will happen if stage files for bankruptcy? There has been news that they’re going to file for bankruptcy. Someone else said they sent letters to the employees

Worried Stager - No buyer happening. No company going to invest in Stage. Everyone is getting jerked around. All the senior executives are still getting paid and getting huge bonuses. All of us got laidoff.
Anyone hear any updates on buyers? I think we are getting jerked around.
The Meyerland facility is a second corporate office in the Meyerland Plaza shopping center in Houston, Texas. It houses the main Palais Royal store on the first floor, then office and storage space, call center, print shop and photography studio on the second floor.
What's the Meyerland facility? I work in a stage store and haven't heard of it.
Looks like no new financing, so liquidation sales start as soon as stores reopen. If a buyer for all or parts of the business or specific locations then the liquidation process will stop only at those locations.
It’s lights out.
Basically we got an email from Management that said if a sale or additional financing wasn’t obtained, the Corporate Office and Meyerland Facility would be closed on 7/8. We would then be terminated on 7/8 or within 14 days after that. Pretty sh–ty, but that’s what you expect with the most inept Sr. Management team of all-time.
