Kmart is still a big chain. People claim they are hard to find. Kmart is a BIG chain right across America. Kmart is still important to America and there IS every chance that they WILL be once again the biggest! Go Kmart!

I'm in Michigan, the birthplace of Kmart. Know how many Kmarts are left here? One. Know how far it is from metro Detroit, where most of the population in the state lives? 2 hours.

For Kmart to come back now, they would need to feature a product line that is available only at Kmart and that is clearly different and better than anything sold at Target, Walmart, Macys, Kohls, CVS, Walgreens, etc.

Well, you know...I went to the movies and then...you know...I bought my ticket....you know....and then I went to my seat...you know....and then I sat down....you know....etc.
There are at most 44 Kmarts (soon to be 43 when Minneapolis closes), and 11 of those are in overseas island territories.

With 39 out of 50 states no longer having a K Mart in them, they are indeed hard to find and will only become more difficult to find as more stores close.
