Thread regarding Sears layoffs

There are like 50 Kmart's and like 50 states

Kmart is still a big chain. People claim they are hard to find. Kmart is a BIG chain right across America. Kmart is still important to America and there IS every chance that they WILL be once again the biggest! Go Kmart!

"Once upon a time, Kmart had the Martha Stewart brand"

Too bad Martha didn't buy them when she had a chance. It could have been an interesting store, at least.

I'm in Michigan, the birthplace of Kmart. Know how many Kmarts are left here? One. Know how far it is from metro Detroit, where most of the population in the state lives? 2 hours.

Nothing is hard to FIND, given GPS...but it sure as heck is not worth the drive

@uav+14TTj8s7. The OP is not exactly sure how many states there are. That's how I read it. LOL

For Kmart to come back now, they would need to feature a product line that is available only at Kmart and that is clearly different and better than anything sold at Target, Walmart, Macys, Kohls, CVS, Walgreens, etc.

Once upon a time, Kmart had the Martha Stewart brand. That made them distinctive and a shopping destination. But that's long gone now.

There are at most 44 Kmarts (soon to be 43 when Minneapolis closes), and 11 of those are in overseas island territories.

"People claim they are hard to find"....

With 39 out of 50 states no longer having a K Mart in them, they are indeed hard to find and will only become more difficult to find as more stores close.

If these ideas are so good, why is the troll not presenting them to Eddie Lampert himself?

Because these ideas are silly, unrealistic, and are not even possible to implement given the precarious situation Kmart is in.

Hey clown...Do some research before you post your cheerleader nonsense.

There are less than 40 Kmarts left in existence..All clustered in 11 states....11!!!!!!!

39 states no longer have Kmarts in them....39!!!!!!!

So what is with this claim of 50 Kmarts in 50 states nonsense?????

You don't have one ounce of credibility, troll!!!!!!
