Thread regarding Union Pacific Corp. layoffs

mo--n.

mo–ns ran and closed Jenks shop. I hope those same mo–ns don’t wander to the ramp. We in NLR are running out of options

Old heads (by the way I am one of them) might wan’t to re-consider the carriers eliminating all of the positions. Who will remain to pay into the railroad retirement fund?

Wheel shop agreement on has like 3 or 4 guys left on it. You guys think you're covered under it you better look again. Jenks won't open back anytime soon. Still alot of psr left. Wouldn't be surprised if it was totally shut down for good.

Maybe ProgressRail can take over the EMD main gen rebuilds and we can get some that are actually put together right.

@1kcb+14 They were disgruntled because they were constantly threatened with being laid off (that actually finally happened) because they weren’t getting enough work done. Treated like kids and constantly belittled because management doesn’t understand less people to do the work means production goes down. Constantly being accused of slowing down to spite management. Told they weren’t doing their jobs right even if they were doing exactly what they were told to do. So no they weren’t disgruntled because they had to work take that bull$hit accusation somewhere else.

They were disgruntled because they had to work and be productive. Maybe that’s the problem.

They thought it would be easy show up and clock out like they did at jenks it’s a whole different beast at the ramp/service track you are expected to work and be productive. Now they get to see why all the guys that were walked out when they bumped down from jenks were so disgruntled.

Yeap those same guys that dragged their feet at jenks are now at the ramp and service track. Little birdy is saying they are dragging their feet at the ramp and service track too. Them id–ts don't pick up the pace and sign off hours they will soon be without a job also. This company doesn't give a sh– about us, bottom line they want numbers and productive up along with reliable locomotives.
