Folks you are bunch of Blake’s messengers. Blake is a smart guy. But he is insecure as hell. That’s why he perceives everyone as a threat. If you would like to know what makes him that way I will gladly spill the beans....
Birdie is just another guy Blake brought on hoping that it will prolong his life at DQ while doing his bidding. Wasn’t there a VP (Ted) who was brought on to help with TIW acquisition? It was not his idea but he was blamed after the collapse. That’s what Bird is there for except he got pretty high...
Also comments about what customers want....do they own DQ stock? Seems to me Blake gave you a job to troll this site and praise him and talk smack about others who might be his successors or even perceived as such.....just saying! You know there is a succession planning in every company around the world and DQ’s #1 in case Blake gets abducted by aliens is Bird. So you guys are writing smack about Bird so nobody thinks of replacing Blake with Bird.

From a corporate perspective Bird is a better choice, those who don't know his past go and dig. Blake has a well-reputed image in the industry and being a technology company u better keep someone who knows what DQ offers to market or this may be the beginning of a selloff to someone who knows

Nonsense! Byrd is Blake’s water boy! Big Jim was against the nonsense of centers of excellence as he saw that not working at Vetco. It was either do it or get out, and Big Jim got out.

Read it and check out the barbed response about TIW acquisition from just before Bird’s time. He’s knifed Jim, Blake has been in his sights for a couple of years and now he’s shaping up for the k–l. Bird might not understand the company, but he seems well understanding of corporate politics. He afraid with this guy in charge, likewise a certain young executive that will be very exposed without the CEO’s comfort blanket
