Thread regarding Cummins Inc. layoffs

Can you ask cummins to lay you off during times like this if you have back issues that are getting bad?
I suppose you can ask for an accomadation, but if your jobs a labor intensive one I don't see why they would say s—s to be you you want out quit. They half to know we support families and have loyal to them up until that point.

Yes you still get unemployment. Mine runs out May 23rd, then I get to go on COBRA. F*cking yay.

Your so right, if your insurance bill gets too high they will be looking to get rid of you. It doesn't matter how hard your boss or his boss or high level management director may like you. If corporate is seeing your to expensive your gone. And those managers who are fighting for you know the game and at some point they will be by your side crying with you but as soon as they leave will be agree with what is done. Because at the end of the day they don't want to risk their job or money for defending you to hard.

Lol you don't have to ask. I have some GI issues and they axed me because I'm too expensive to keep alive. Once the HR bots see how bad you tax insurance you'll be on the sh– list. I was even a 2.
